Slices, packages, weighs, and sells various deli products, including meats and cheeses. Maintains the presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including deli display cases. Provides assistance to Members in the deli department. Team members carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance, and act with honesty and integrity while putting the member first.

• Deliver high‑level customer service to Members.
• Answer questions and recommend deli items.
• Handle Member calls and take special orders.
• Slice, package, and weigh deli products, including cheeses and meats.
• Assist Members in selecting the correct products and sample product to aid decision‑making.
• Prepare and package special orders and party trays.
• Receive and inspect deli shipments.
• Display, stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety and freshness policies.
• Check for out‑of‑date products daily and follow appropriate product salvage policies.
• Maintain a wide variety of products on deli cooler shelves and display cases.
• Operate and handle deli equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize deli equipment and food surfaces throughout the department.
• Ensure scale systems are in working order and that items are weighed and priced accurately.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.

Work experience in a deli department preferred. Prior experience operating manual or power slicers and scales preferred. Knowledge of deli products preferred. At least 18 years of age.

Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces. The job may require bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping. Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally heavier objects with assistance. The environment is indoor with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers, and frequent exposure to cleaning agents.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. The pay range for this position is $17.25 – $21.13 per hour.
