Senior Sales Engineer – Eaton

Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join its team. This position is located in Franklin, MA. It offers exposure to cross‑functional collaboration and market intelligence to drive sales performance.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with key customers and channel partners to enhance long‑term business prospects.
  • Execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements.
  • Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines while exercising sound business judgment.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product lines, operations, and other internal stakeholders to provide customer‑centric solutions.
  • Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities while communicating such information to product divisions.
  • Assist teammates in training channel on Eaton products and electronic tools.
  • Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits to drive data‑based decisions.
  • Provide accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation, and technical support.
  • Plan promotional events and presentations with distributor personnel to promote Eaton’s position, while achieving assigned sales goals.

  • Understanding of sales processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a technical or commercial field.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
  • No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Franklin, MA. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Compensation

This full‑time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. The target total compensation range is $123,750 – $181,250. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
