Transform at JLL with your leadership experience as a HVAC Shift Supervisor on a technology client account! You will work as part of an engineering & facilities team at multi-million sq ft client portfolio managed by JLL.

Schedule:

On-site, Monday-Friday 2nd Shift-
3rd Shift-

Reporting to:
Plant Lead

Responsibilities
  • Under the Facility teams direction, supervises and directs shift team, vendors and monitors performance of their assigned responsibilities.
  • Performs and/or directs the performance of all maintenance service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable campus environment by operating, controlling, and performing preventive/predictive maintenance on the HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Life Safety building systems.
  • Supports preparation of monthly/quarterly operations and mechanical reports, prepares technical evaluations/deficiencies reports on existing mechanical systems and components.
  • Respond effectively to all emergencies and alarms.
  • Make recommendations for systems improvement through immediate supervisor or management.
  • Communicate effectively to the client and building occupants/tenants.
  • Complete special tasks including painting, lighting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
  • Perform facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
  • Comply with safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas; recognize hazards and propose elimination methods.
  • Comply with policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
  • Document work performance and materials procurement using the work order system.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance with minimum disruption of building services.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in basic maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Encourage enrollment in relevant inside or outside courses within operating budget guidelines.
  • Develop sources for stock materials such as water treatment chemicals, HVAC supplies, lighting, ceiling tiles, paint, electrical, and plumbing supplies.
  • Assist the facility team relative to monitoring the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
  • Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of each building system.
  • Devise technical enhancements to improve building operation.
  • Identify equipment that may require replacement or reconditioning with owner s capital consideration.
  • Support and mentor junior engineering staff and technicians.
Qualifications
  • Experience and technical skills:
    Required
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Five (5)+ years of relevant work experience, especially as Senior HVAC Tech or Lead HVAC Tech or similar role.
  • Two (2)+ years of relevant people management experience (managing a team of maintenance/engineering personnel).
  • EPA Section 608 Universal certification.
  • Journeyman Refrigeration Technician's License / Massachusetts Refrigeration Technicians License.
  • Valid state driver s license.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS).
  • Strong customer service & interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes.
