Job Scope:
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair commercial trade HVAC systems, equipment, and components
- Perform preventative maintenance of commercial HVAC specific systems, equipment, and components
- Accurately document all job-specific troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on Service work orders and submit them to the Service Dispatcher in a timely manner
- Participate in Emergency On-Call Service rotation for installations and repairs
- Communicating effectively with customers and service team to build strong relationships internally and externally
Education:
A High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), Vocational School Training is helpful but not required
Experience:
Four to ten years of related experience
Skills & Abilities:
Computer
Skills:
Field to Base computer training will be provided.
Certificates & Licenses required:
Massachusetts Refrigeration License, EPA certificate.
Other Requirements:
Valid Drivers License
- Class D & OSHA 10 Certification
Other Requirements (Trade Specific):
HVAC
- Must have a strong working knowledge of commercial chilled water systems including Chiller (centrifugal and reciprocating) and Tower equipment, pumps, piping, associated controls, and electrical circuits.
All Trades
- Must have knowledge and familiarity with local/regional Vendors and Manufacturers Representatives
