Electrician

Overview

Electrician – 2nd & 3rd Shift at JLL building operations team in Franklin, Massachusetts. Maintain, repair, and support critical electrical systems within a commercial technology facility.

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and building controls.
• Monitor and service electrical panels, switch gear, transformers, circuit breakers, UPS systems, and generators.
• Respond to electrical service requests and complete work orders using a CMMS system.
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical testing (voltage, amperage, continuity, resistance).
• Support building operations with minor general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee contractor work related to electrical systems.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and communicate effectively with site leadership and occupants.

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience (residential-only experience not acceptable).
• Completed electrical apprenticeship program or trade school education.
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), Massachusetts electrical codes, and OSHA standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Ability to work on-site and respond to on-call requirements.

• Experience in commercial, institutional, or technology‑driven facilities.
• Familiarity with emergency power systems, UPS, generators, and building automation systems.
• Working knowledge of HVAC or mechanical systems in a facilities environment.
• Experience using CMMS platforms and basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to safely work at heights, in confined spaces, and in active electrical rooms.

Franklin, Massachusetts. 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00p.m.–11:30p.m. (on‑call expectation). 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00p.m.–7:30a.m. (on‑call expectation).

$80,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience and technical expertise.
