Electrical Technician

The Panther Group is looking for an experienced Electrical Technician for a leading manufacturing company in Franklin, MA. This is a temp to hire opportunity!

RESPONSIBILITIES Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes and subassemblies per customer requirement.

Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of material.

Drill or tap holes to mount control units or to provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.

Utilize a variety of small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.

Complete point-to-point wiring, and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, switches, etc.

Red-line documentation as necessary to initiate ECOs through Engineering.

Perform operations such as deburring, grinding & sawing. Operate hand pallet jacks to move material within plant.

Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of a High School Education.

Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired Point-to-point wiring experience is highly preferred.
2+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics and electrical diagrams. An understanding of electrical currents.

Highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Mechanical installation and electrical wiring for control panels and desks.

Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panel is a must.

Pay is up to $23 per hour Depending on Experience#INDENG
