The Franklin Public Schools, a Prek-12 district, is seeking a skilled, licensed and experienced substitute Van Driver to drive students with special needs to and from school.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Safely transport students to and from school.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and sanitize vehicle between runs.
- Operate vehicle in accordance with all Federal and State traffic laws.
- Complete weekly documentation and record keeping as required by the district.
- Massachusetts 7D license.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly with students, parents, teachers, and staff.
- Must enjoy working with children, and always possess the ability to show patience and empathy.
- Experience operating a van for students or adults with special needs.
- Must successfully pass Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
