Overview
Warehouse Associate role supporting Mattress Firm's supply chain operations. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory handling, quality checks, order processing, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment. This position requires compliance with safety policies and company standards, and professional communication with internal and external contacts.
Responsibilities- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
- Stage deliveries and store products in designated locations.
- Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
- Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
- Obtain appropriate and authorized signatures on paperwork.
- Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
- Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
- Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment; may operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
- Maintain grounds, keep stock organized and clean, and ensure cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floors, truck docks, and aisles.
- Remove trash daily and recycle materials; sanitize products per Company procedures.
- Complete required training modules and certifications prior to due dates; follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external contacts and uphold Company policies and brand standards.
- Report concerns to leadership to ensure department and company efficiency.

- Reaching with hands and arms
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Sight required to ensure safety
- Execute company initiatives and other supervisor-requested activities.
- Update job knowledge through educational opportunities.
- Contribute ideas to optimize the team and department.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of general warehouse experience preferred
- Strong communication abilities and attention to detail
- Effective time management to ensure completion of work
- General warehouse operations and familiarity with Powered Industrial Trucks for relocation and safety inspection

Competitive rate of $19 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available at the company’s discretion.
Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular time.
