Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the logistics support team, ensuring efficient movement and handling of freight. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Franklin, MA

Pay Range:

Shift: Tues-Sat 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
• Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved or shipped
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers
• Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
• Basic written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic computer skills
• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners is a plus

¿ En qué consiste el trabajo?

• Ayudar en actividades de envío y recepción, incluyendo la descarga de camiones y revisión de mercancía
• Emparejar órdenes de compra con órdenes de venta y distribuir pedidos a los asociados de ventas para su procesamiento
• Leer órdenes de clientes, órdenes de trabajo y órdenes de envío para determinar los artículos a mover o enviar
• Asegurar que el almacén sea accesible y seguro para empleados y clientes
• Completar el trabajo de manera segura, siguiendo todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad

¿ Qué necesitas?

• Capacidad para levantar, empujar o jalar al menos 75 libras
• Habilidades básicas de comunicación escrita y verbal en inglés
• Habilidades básicas en computación
