Cost Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a well‑established manufacturing company in the Tilton, NH area, searching for a Cost Accountant to join their team. This is a permanent, onsite role that will report to the Controller.

• Maintain and analyze standard costs; perform manufacturing variance, margin, and profitability analysis
• Manage inventory valuation, physical counts, reconciliations, and obsolescence analysis
• Support annual manufacturing budgets, forecasts, and cost projections for new products and process changes
• Prepare monthly cost reports, KPIs, and ad hoc analysis to support operational and financial decision‑making
• Ensure GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and audit support related to manufacturing and inventory

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working in Excel‑heavy environments
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and act as a confident change agent
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
