Materials Administrative Assistant

Position:
The Materials Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the Materials Department, including data entry, inventory tracking, SAP usage, Excel reporting, and general office tasks. The role reports to the Materials Supervisor and is based in Franklin, NH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Materials team.
  • Enter, update, and maintain data within SAP accurately and timely.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report on materials and inventory data.
  • Assist with purchase orders, inventory records, and materials documentation.
  • Coordinate information between departments to maintain internal communication.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records.
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and process documentation as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of administrative, clerical, or support experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience with SAP (or similar ERP systems) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, basic formulas, and spreadsheet management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Understanding and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre‑employment testing.

Working Conditions

On‑site in a manufacturing facility located in Franklin, NH. Working hours will be communicated by manager. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 25 pounds, and use of personal protective equipment.
