Scope of Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Material Handler I to ensure the accurate and timely shipment of all customer and agent orders. In this role you will verify, pack, and load outbound shipments, including LTL and full truckloads, while maintaining accuracy and product integrity.
PrimaryJob Duties And Responsibilities
- Verify and pack all outbound LTL and truck load shipments for correct quantities and items
- Ensure the optimum loading of all outbound trailers for accuracy, integrity, load sequence, and maximized cube shipments
- Verify proper loading to ensure safe transit of material to customers
- Help control flow of people, equipment, and product on dock as it pertains to completion of orders, receipt of incoming, and transfers within inter-plant
- Operate digital scales
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year(s) of related experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

- Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses
These duties are performed on‑site at the Distribution Center in Franklin, New Hampshire. Working hours will be communicated by your manager. The position is at will, and can be assigned or reassigned by Watts at any time.
