Material Handler
Scope of Position
This self‑directed, detail‑oriented individual on the Materials team will assist the department supervisor and help ensure orderly operation of the materials department. The role includes training team members, workflow prioritization, compliance with procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment and culture for all associates, following all safety rules and regulations.
- Report any job‑related injury and/or illness immediately to the supervisor.
- Assist employees by solving problems, answering questions, reviewing quality, and providing training.
- Act as an informal leader and influence without authority, abiding by the Code of Conduct and engaging employees positively.
- Operating receiving, fork‑truck, reach‑truck, picker, and other relevant equipment as required.
- Perform picking, packaging, shipping, scanning operations, cycle counts, and physical inventories per procedures.
- Handle DO system transactions and other procedures.
- Ensure a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain.
- Must must perform other projects and duties assigned by the supervisor or company management.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Proficient math skills.
- Basic computer skills to perform computer‑related transactions.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems.

While performing the job duties, the employee will be working on‑site in a manufacturing facility at the Franklin location. Scheduled work hours will be communicated by the manager.
Physical RequirementsSpecific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Move around the manufacturing floor.
- Read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
- Wear personal protective equipment (safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, etc.).
