Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Franklin, NH
Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift: Evening Shift - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,700 - $1,912
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel LPN to support a long-term care/skilled nursing environment. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, supervising nursing assistants, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants
- Assist with planning and coordinating shift services, programs, and activities
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders accurately
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform nursing procedures including catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, dressing changes, and wound care
- Monitor residents' conditions and document responses to care
- Take and record vital signs including TPRs and blood pressure
- Collect specimens (urine, blood, sputum) and perform routine lab testing as required
- Participate in resident and family orientation
- Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and supervisors
- Ensure adequate medication, supply, and equipment inventory on assigned units
- Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to residents' rights
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections as required
- Provide patient and family education
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Active LPN License
- BLS Certification
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
