Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct nursing care to residents per the plan of care, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document administration accurately in the resident chart.
  • Monitor vital signs, observe for changes in condition, and promptly report to the supervising nurse.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and participate in rounds or care conferences as needed.
  • Maintain safety, infection control, and standard precautions; respond to emergencies and call for assistance as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, MARs, and shift reports.
  • Uphold professional boundaries, ethical standards, and compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform nursing duties in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work a travel assignment with the listed shift pattern.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
