We are seeking dependable and efficient CDL Class A truck drivers to drive tractor trailers for National over the road deliveries of medical diagnostic equipment. Must be organized, detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently. A clean driving record and commercial driving experience is a must.

CDL-A drivers are responsible for the safe and timely movement of tractor trailers configured for mobile medical imaging (MRI, PET & CT mobile units).Detailed

Job Description The MRI/CT techs in the mobile units scan during the day, so drivers will move trailers at night to locations where appointments are scheduled. Employees report to designated parking location daily to pick up their truck, then drive to hospitals & medical clinics. Once the employee arrives at a client location, they drop off or pick up their trailer.

Set up/tear down requires drivers to get out of their truck and unload or pack up the trailer (we say this takes about 30-45 minutes). Drivers will typically transport 1-2 trailers a night. Drivers will be provided training for 4-6 weeks to learn the routes and to learn how to set up/tear down trailers.

Shift & Schedule Employees work 8
-12 hours shifts. Shifts will include a mixture of week days and/or week nights and some weekends. Expect to be away from home 1-2 weeks at a time.

Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid commercial driver’s license in the state of residence and DOT Medical certification

Able to set up medical diagnostic equipment at delivery sites (training will be provided)
Clean DOT driving record with no moving violations

Comfortable with Transporting and setting up medical equipment

Must pass a background check and drug test Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy tractor trailers

Ability to drive safely and not cause damages to equipment or client property

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. at a time Estimated weight
1. Patient lift weight = 30lbs – 60lbs
2. Stair weight? 30lbs – 50lbs
3. Cord weight? 30lbsDriver’s may be exposed to a strong magnetic field or environmental hazards such as exposure to noise

Job Duties and Responsibilities Ability to drive tractor trailers with an automatic transmissions with a minium of 2 years’ experience.

Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle

Ensure trailers are securely connected to tractor

Set up medical equipment at destination

We will train on medical equipment specifics.

Comply with ICC and DOT regulations

Make safety a priority at all times

Monitors, reports and/or repairs any mechanical or safety item that would prevent the safe transport of company equipment.

May be required to perform Q.A. checks on equipment after arrival idents living in CA, NY. Jersey City, NJ, WA and CO  to view pay range information.
