DESCRIPTIONElementary Special Education Instructional CoachPOSITION SUMMARY:
Provide daily instruction for students in accordance with Board approved curriculum. Language & Learning Disabilities (LLD) Mild/Moderate, Pull-Out Resource, and In-Class Resource.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Comprehensive Instructional Support:- Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: K6 Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH), Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSWD)
- Minimum of three years successful Special Education teaching experience
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
- Successful Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
- Bilingual/Multilingual
- Master's degree in education or related field
- Knowledge of effective professional learning practices
10 - Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.
COMPENSATIONIn accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 SY is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) - Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

ANNUAL EVALUATION:Performance is reviewed annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board of Education policy on evaluations for certificated staff.
TECHNOLOGYSKILLS:
Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
