SummaryReporting to the Plant Engineer, the Maintenance Process Engineer is responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting process issues, supporting capital projects, and ensuring overall equipment reliability. The role also supports plant operations to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and minimize costs.
Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities; train production operators and document processes.
- Understand equipment functionality and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Collaborate with operators to determine optimal process conditions and maintenance frequencies.
- Create preventive maintenance documents and schedule work.
- Work with outside vendors as needed.
- Manage process monitoring through Ei3, defining critical parameters and acceptable ranges.
- Analyze and resolve process problems with the improvement team.
- Provide troubleshooting support for plant production issues.
- Research new technologies and benchmark competitor innovations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, technical, and business skills.
- Experience with rotogravure printing and dry-bond lamination is preferred.
This position is located at our Franklin, OH facility and requires 100% onsite presence.
