Hours for this role:
Saturday and Sunday, 8am-4pm.

Work Location:

Willing to work between our Hamilton and Franklin locations.

Responsibilities
  • Performs individual and group counseling under supervision of licensed staff.
  • Facilitates educational and skill‑based groups.
  • Participates in care coordination activities with treatment team members.
  • Utilizes a trauma‑informed approach to client care.
  • Ensures clients are engaged in daily programming and services.
  • Monitors client self‑administration of medication as needed.
  • Communicates key information timely to treatment team members to aid in the determination of client progress and treatment intervention needs.
  • Assists clients in crisis and secures appropriate clinical resources to aid in crisis situations.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance with agency policy and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • State of Ohio Chemical Dependent Counselor Assistant (CDC‑A) licensure.
  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in social work, psychology or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior work experience or internship experience working in behavioral health preferably providing counseling services.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook and Teams.
  • Adept at learning and navigating electronic health record systems.
