Compensation & Benefits:

• Full-time Firefighter/Paramedic:
  Pay Rate: $72,041.84 - $81,081.52 / Firefighter/EMT Pay Rate: $59,171.32 - $68,624.40 + 10% Pension Pick-Up. + competitive benefits package including health, dental, optical and life insurance, and generous paid time off. Firefighter/Paramedic take home pay with pension pick-up is equivalent to $79,246.02 - $89,189.67 annually. Firefighter/EMT take home pay with pension pick-up is equivalent to $65,088.45 - $75,486.84 annually.

Qualifications: Must possess a certificate under ORC 4765.55 evidencing satisfactory completion of a firefighter training program, and a valid certificate issued under ORC 4765.11 as an EMT, or a valid certificate under ORC 4765.30 to practice as a Paramedic. Candidates must also be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid Ohio driver’s license and acceptable driver’s record, and if not certified as a Paramedic upon appointment candidates must obtain Paramedic and Fire Fighter II certification within twenty-four (24) calendar months of hire.
