Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a dependable, safety-driven operation. In this role, you'll be a key player in keeping mill equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, solving mechanical and electrical challenges, and working independently on off-shifts, this is a strong long-term opportunity.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced mill environment
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support production goals
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment quickly and safely
• Work with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems
• Repair and replace components including bearings, gears, chains, pumps, and gearboxes
• Accurately document repairs and parts usage using a CMMS system
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety standards and procedures

• Proven industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Experience using plasma cutters or torches preferred
• Forklift or Bobcat experience is a plus
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on 2nd or 3rd shift
