Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for participating in Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) activities for all plant equipment and facilities. This role ensures optimal performance, reliability, and safety of equipment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. This is a 1st or 3rd shift role!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain all production and facility equipment.
  • Analyze and correct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on assigned equipment to maintain maximum production efficiency and product quality.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement actions related to productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support facilities maintenance as required.
  • Participate actively in team initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Generate and implement at least six improvement ideas per month.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all company work rules, codes of ethics, and management standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental systems.
  • Ability to adjust robot programs (training provided).
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex tasks independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work across all organizational levels.
  • Good math, language, and reading comprehension skills.
  • Forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift certification (or ability to complete training).
  • Valid driver's license.
