Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Quick Pro Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a leading manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, adjusting, and performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position plays a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently while following all company safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Install, adjust, modify, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, clean, and reassemble machinery and equipment as needed.
- Utilize electrical testing equipment, meters, and diagnostic tools to identify equipment issues.
- Communicate maintenance concerns and repair recommendations to supervisors and engineering teams.
- Install, repair, and maintain various piping systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform welding, cutting, brazing, and torch work as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
- Assist with inventory of maintenance parts and spare equipment.
- Follow all safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in training and work overtime or rotating shifts as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
- Experience using power tools, hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and measuring devices.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must successfully pass a Mechanical Comprehension Assessment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required.
- Use hands and fingers for tools, repairs, and equipment adjustments.
- Ability to work in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, humidity, noise levels, and other industrial conditions.
- Must have the vision necessary to safely perform maintenance tasks, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, color recognition, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment where employees may be exposed to:
