The Senior Accountant will be responsible for manufacturing cost accounting activities, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and providing accurate financial reporting and analysis for Essex Solutions. This role requires strong experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across divisional headquarters and plant operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- :
Prepare and analyze daily metrics, production reports, KPI’s and spending reports - .Support month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations
- .Assist with accounts payable and invoice processing
- .Monitor spend control to ensure compliance with budget and financial policies; report on cost savings/avoidances
- .Participate in quarterly physical inventories; backup to Plant Accounting Manager
- .Prepare standard costing for new items
- .Collaborate with plant and finance teams to ensure accurate financial records

Manufacturing / cost accounting experience require - d.Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and reporting tool
- s.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmen
- t.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skill
