Manages general ledger activities, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany accounting to ensure accurate entity-level books and timely close. Additional responsibilities include review (preparation as needed for back‑up) of financial consolidation of all entities, including FX translation, eliminations, and consolidated disclosure reporting support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities General Ledger Responsibilities (GL, Fixed Assets, Intercompany)- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and allocations with appropriate support and approvals.
- Own fixed asset accounting (capitalization, depreciation, disposals, CIP) and related reconciliations.
- Manage intercompany transactions, settlements, and elimination support documentation.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Support close analytics, actual vs. budget variance explanations, and manage internal and external audit requests.
- Support and participation in physical inventory count process.
- Review (prepare) monthly consolidation for all entities; ensure accuracy of entity submissions, mapping, and validation.
- Review (prepare) FX translation and elimination entries with support and audit trails.
- Review (prepare) consolidation-related disclosure support and audit documentation.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications- Strong ownership mindset and bias for action.
- Ability to partner cross‑functionally and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
- Commitment to control discipline and audit‑ready documentation.
- Continuous improvement orientation (process, systems, and analytics).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
- 6+ years accounting experience including GL and close responsibilities.
- Strong reconciliation discipline and ability to manage deadlines and cross‑functional inputs.
- ERP experience required; manufacturing/multi‑entity experience preferred.
