Our client, a growing and well-established organization in the Franklin area, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting, experience with month-end close activities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies.
• Support financial reporting and accounting operations.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial records.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
