Staff Accountant

Overview

Our client is a private equity-backed healthcare services company specializing in complex rehab technology and mobility equipment, serving a medically fragile population through a large multi-branch footprint across the US and Canada. The finance team is stable, well run, and not currently churning through turnover; this is a backfill on a long-tenured team.

This is not a data entry seat. An offshore team already handles the routine manual work, so this hire steps directly into real ownership: cash reconciliation, bank recs, journal entries, and GL close support. There's also early exposure to a new AI-powered cash and bank matching tool the team is rolling out, ground floor involvement on a tool most staff accountants don t touch until much later in their career.

• Bank reconciliations and cash posting across accounts
• Month-end close journal entries
• Account reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
• Audit support
• Likely fixed asset exposure
• Rollout support for a new AI reconciliation tool

• Bachelor s in Accounting required
• 0 to 2 years experience, strong recent grads welcome, 1 to 2 years preferred
• ERP exposure (Dynamics 365) a plus, not required
• CPA or CPA track a plus, not a screen out either way
• This team is steady and long-tenured. They want driven and confident, not aggressive or bossy. Fit matters as much as skill here.

• $65K to $85K base
• Medical (3 plan options including HDHP/HSA with employer match), dental, vision
• 401k with discretionary match up to 6% of eligible wages
