Lange Accounting is a small, advisory-focused CPA firm in downtown Franklin. We serve specialty trades contractors, professional service firms, and medical practices, and we're guided by five values we call SERVE

We're hiring a Team Lead & Senior Accountant to manage a pod of clients, lead a small team, and do the high-level work you got into this profession for in the first place.

You'd know your clients. We work on a monthly model, so you'll have real, ongoing relationships and talk with owners about their numbers all year long. This is real advisory work with people whose businesses you'll come to understand well.

You'd lead, not just crank out work. You'd manage a pod of two Client Success Managers and be the one who reviews, trains, and grows them. You'd work directly with me, Susan, the owner and a CPA with 20+ years in this profession, with a real and visible path to grow as the firm grows.

And you'd have a life. Tax season caps at 50 hours a week, usually less. From Memorial Day through year-end, we run a real 4-day work week, plus a remote day each week once you're settled in. This is a firm built for people who want to do great work and still make it home for supper.

• Prepare and review tax returns for your pod's clients (1120S, 1065, 1040 with Schedule C and
  
  E)
• Deliver monthly financials and advisory conversations that help owners run their businesses
• Manage relationships with your clients
• Review, train, and grow your two CSMs
• Take part in weekly team rhythms and own your scorecard and quarterly goals

• 5+ years in public accounting with real business tax experience
• Strong tax-return review experience, not just prep. You'd be the review layer for your whole pod, so this one really matters to us
• CPA or EA preferred but not required. If you're working toward your license, we'll help you get there
• Someone who likes talking to business owners about their numbers, not just filing them
• Comfortable in a paperless, cloud-based firm

Base salary: $90,000 - $110,000, Based on your experience and leadership depth.

Performance bonus: up to 10% a year, tied to a clear scorecard and how well you keep and grow your client pod.
