Senior Accountant | Hybrid + Career

LHH is partnered with a stable, yet growing healthcare company to identify a Senior Accountant!

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and account reconciliations to support an accurate and timely month-end close.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Perform financial reporting and variance analysis, identifying trends and explaining significant fluctuations.
• Support cash flow reporting, forecasting, and analysis to assist leadership with financial decision-making.
• Review general ledger activity and ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Partner with operations and department leaders to review financial results and provide meaningful financial insights.
• Support annual audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other corporate finance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiencies across the accounting function.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• Healthcare experience required, either from a traditional accounting background or external audit experience
• CPA or plans to sit for the CPA exam strongly preferred
