Job Description

We’re hiring several Temporary Administrative Assistants for a global construction client of ours to support a large scale I-9 documentation project in preparation for an upcoming electronic I-9 rollout. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, wants to make an immediate impact, and gain valuable compliance experience starting on day one.

Responsibilities
  • Collecting and tracking I-9 documentation from employees across multiple U.S. offices
  • Scanning, uploading, and organizing documents into designated systems
  • Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Following up with offices and/or employees on missing or incorrect information
  • Maintaining detailed tracking of outreach, received documents, and outstanding items
  • Handling sensitive employee information with confidentiality and care, ensuring compliance with federal I-9 requirements
Required Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in document control or data entry
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, high-volume tasks
  • Highly organized, reliable, and deadline driven
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Comfortable handling confidential employee information
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite, Monday–Friday 8am-4pm

This position involves high volume, repetitive administrative work and is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, consistency, and precision.

Compensation and Duration
  • 2-3 month contract with possibility of extension
  • $18/hr to $20/hr.
  • Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
  • Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
