How you make a difference

The Legal Business Analyst reviews, analyses, and reconciles legal invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance with billing guidelines, and alignment with contractual agreements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit legal invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with billing guidelines and agreements.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies with law firms and internal stakeholders.
  • Reconcile invoices, accruals, budgets, and payments to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Analyze legal spend data to identify trends, variances, and cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Support reporting, forecasting, and process improvements related to legal billing and spend management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in legal billing, legal operations, finance, accounting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Experience with legal e‑billing or matter management systems (e.g., Origami, Legal Tracker, Counsel Link, TyMetrix).
  • Experience reviewing invoices or financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience working in a corporate legal department or professional servicesli>
