Purchasing Assistant Manager job at DHD Consulting. Franklin, TN.
Roles & Responsibility- Maintain accurate material data
- Manage material receipt and release data
- Check material usage by production everyday
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse inventory
- Material Shipment Arrangement
- Compare daily/weekly/monthly production projection and actual production data
- Communicate with suppliers and forwarder to take control of material shipments
- Keep the record of in-transit material
- Arrange the delivery schedule
- Maintain optimum level of inventory
- Calculate the optimum level of material need to be purchased
- Create purchase request and issue PO in timely manner by ERP and Groupware
- Quality Management
- Evaluate performance of suppliers
- Submit claims to suppliers when QM issued NC report or quality concern
- Request incoming QC to perform the test when products are received
- Payment arrangement for material and freight
- Compare service quality and rates by each forwarder every month
- Confirm the details of freight invoices
- Submit invoices to AP when payment request is approved
Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
Knowledge & Skill- Purchasing experiences in the production fields is a bonus
- Proficient knowledge of inventory control
- 1-3 years purchasing experience is recommended
- Outstanding communication skills plus
- English and Korean bilingual preferred
