Role Description

The Studio Coordinator is a part-time, on-site role based at the School of Rock location in Franklin, TN. This role manages the day‑to‑day operations of the studio, including greeting students and families, handling phone and email inquiries, scheduling lessons and rehearsals, and maintaining an organized and welcoming environment. The Studio Coordinator supports sales and enrollment by presenting program offerings, assisting with registrations, and processing payments.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating events and performances, updating basic marketing materials or social media as directed, and ensuring that studio policies and safety procedures are followed. The role works closely with music instructors and local leadership to provide a positive experience for all students and families.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to interact effectively with students, families, and staff.
  • Customer service skills with a focus on hospitality, problem‑solving, and creating a welcoming studio environment.
  • Interest in or background in music, with the ability to understand basic music terminology and the School of Rock performance-based approach.
  • Sales and marketing skills, including comfort discussing program options, supporting enrollment, and assisting with local promotions or social media.
  • Organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, record‑keeping, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on‑site during afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and point‑of‑sale or scheduling systems.
  • Prior experience in an education, arts, or youth‑focused environment is a plus.
