Workforce Management Specialist II
As a Workforce Management Specialist II, you will assume an advanced role in the optimization of workforce planning and management, focusing on overseeing assigned schedules to maintain accurate records. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks, including scheduling, forecasting, and resource allocation, all aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of our workforce. Additionally, you will play a vital role in training on WFM best practices, supporting workforce management initiatives, and embodying the values and guiding principles of the Workforce Management team while providing unwavering support with a can‑do attitude.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level workforce management support, overseeing staff schedules to optimize resource allocation and meet service level objectives, while aligning with contractual staffing matrices.
- Collaborate closely with division/regional/site leadership to ensure workforce planning aligns with business objectives, making real‑time scheduling adjustments to maintain service levels.
- Conduct in‑depth data analysis, administer advanced workforce management software, and mentor Workforce Management Specialists I to support forecasting, streamline processes, and enhance workforce efficiency.
- Manage and maintain workforce management tools, such as HCM, Salesforce, and Service Now, while also preparing and presenting accurate records and reports to senior management.
- Assist in providing statistical reports on labor management and support corrective action plans when needed, demonstrating a proactive approach to optimizing workforce performance.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree in business administration, health care administration, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 2 years of progressively more responsible administrative or related experience desired.
- Direct scheduling experience preferred.
- Medical / Correctional experience strongly desired.
