- Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements and specifications.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product enhancement.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features based on customer feedback and business objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product‑related inquiries, providing insights and updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to inform future iterations and improvements.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to ensure effective team collaboration and project management.
- Create and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, articulating product vision and strategy.
- Mentor junior product team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and deployment.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the technology or energy sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and best practices.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
- Experience in the energy sector, particularly in compliance and training solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to energy management.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.
- Previous experience working with remote teams or in a hybrid work environment.
- Proficient in product management software and tools, including JIRA, Confluence, and Aha!
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and analytics platforms.
- This position is based in Decatur, Texas, and may require occasional travel for client meetings or industry events.
