Field Safety Specialist

As a field-based member of this collaborative team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the safety culture across multiple structural steel erection projects. Field Safety Specialist Benefits & Compensation- Competitive salary up to $75K, commensurate with experience

- Work directly with leadership to influence organization-wide safety strategy
- Minimum 2 years of construction safety or relevant field experience
- Experience in structural steel or other high-risk construction environments strongly preferred
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (or ability to obtain)
- First Aid / CPR / AED certification
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% (in and out of state)
- Confident working on active job sites with multiple trades
- Hands-on approach with a proactive mindset toward hazard prevention
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with all levels onsite, including subcontractors
- Conduct regular job site safety walks, inspections, and audits
- Identify and address unsafe conditions and behaviors, ensuring timely corrective action
- Support enforcement of safety standards and OSHA compliance in the field
- Maintain a strong visible presence on job sites to reinforce safe work practices
- Assist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task planning, and incident investigations
- Collaborate with leadership and crews to promote a proactive safety culture and implement risk-reduction solutions
