Position SummaryThe Customer Support - Order Management Specialist is responsible for providing order management services to clients. Activities include quoting, processing, fulfilment, review, entry, dispatch and support, and payment. The specialist ensures timely release of orders and maintains pre-established standards and policies to achieve customer satisfaction, monitors and resolves order issues and processing errors, and may develop support delivery strategy, processes, escalation procedures and training.
The role also liaises between customers and internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reductions, and value-added services.
Preferred candidate must live within an 80-mile radius of our corporate office in Downtown Nashville TN.
Responsibilities- Execute order management process from quoting to payment, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Monitor and resolve order-related issues and processing errors.
- Develop and improve support delivery strategy, processes, escalation procedures, and training.
- Liaise with customers, technical support, product development, sales, and field service to identify opportunities for support delivery improvements, cost reduction and added value.
- Collaborate with manager and teammates to achieve short-term goals.
- Apply knowledge of job processes and tools obtained through work experience.
- Problem-solve and anticipate additional needs or requests.
- Communicate information requiring explanation or interpretation and grow knowledge and skills through training.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
