The Concierge acts as the first point of contact at the community for our customers through telephone or in‑person interactions. This position provides exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner. It is responsible for graciously greeting community visitors, addressing the questions or concerns of prospective or current residents and families, and providing support to sales and marketing and the business office.
The role pays attention to details and uses creativity to create positive experiences with current and prospective residents by managing the lobby experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities:
Proactively assists residents, families, visitors, and employees with questions or problems resulting in a positive experience; greet all visitors and answer incoming calls in a professional and respectful manner.Monitors entry area for visitors and guests, greets and directs as necessary, answers incoming telephone calls and resident calls, forwards and takes messages, receives and sends packages for residents, assists with residents who request assistance with mailing letters and packages. Manages the lobby; monitors and ensures desk and lobby are clean and neat; creates a comfortable, inviting area; and assists the activity director and/or others as necessary in promoting activities with residents in the lobby.Sales & Marketing: manages the inquiry process, connecting the caller or visiting customer to the appropriate inquiry team member; responds to inquiries and/or tours when community relations director, executive director and resident care directors are not available; facilitates experiences/tours of community as needed; is knowledgeable and assists in supporting the marketing standards of the community; aids with duties related to the Lead Management Program;
assists with assembling marketing packets as needed.Business Office: assists in processing new resident documentation; assists in maintenance of resident files and documentation while maintaining confidentiality.Promotes and encourages residents to participate in activities.Follows and communicates company policies and procedures.This job description provides a framework for the job; other duties may be assigned as necessary.Required
Skills and Experience:- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have six months of experience in a receptionist role or similar function.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.
