Listener Services Associate

Family Radio is seeking a Listener Services Associate (LST Associate) to serve on the front line of our relationship with listeners. LST Associates are often the first personal connection a listener has with Family Radio and play an important role in representing our ministry, caring for our audience, strengthening listener relationships, and helping listeners become more deeply engaged with and supportive of our mission.

Reporting to the Donor Communications Manager, the LST Associate will communicate personally with listeners across phone, email, text, mail, social media messaging, and other channels. The Associate will answer questions, solve problems, listen carefully to needs and feedback, and provide thoughtful, personalized responses that demonstrate the care and mission of Family Radio.

This position also plays an important role in listener and donor development. Through meaningful interactions, LST Associates accurately document listener interactions, interests, needs, and giving activity in Family Radio's CRM so that relationships can be cultivated over time.

• Serve as a frontline representative of Family Radio, providing warm, thoughtful, and personalized service that helps listeners feel heard, valued, and connected to the ministry
• Respond to listener communications across phone, email, text, mail, social media, and other channels with exceptional professionalism, care, and written communication
• Build relationships with listeners by understanding their needs, answering questions, solving problems, and strengthening their connection to Family Radio
• Recognize opportunities to deepen listener engagement, communicate the impact of Family Radio's ministry, and appropriately steward financial support
• Support donors and fundraising initiatives by answering giving questions, processing donations, and providing an excellent donor experience
• Accurately document listener and donor interactions, interests, needs, and giving activity in Family Radio's CRM to support ongoing relationship development
• Identify and appropriately elevate listener concerns, feedback, and opportunities while sharing insights that can improve the listener experience
• Maintain a strong understanding of Family Radio's mission, programming, fundraising efforts, and communication channels, and assist with organizational projects and other duties as assigned

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent grammar, clarity, tone, and professionalism across phone, email, text, social media, and other channels
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to serve listeners, build relationships, and represent Family Radio's mission
• Comfortable discussing charitable giving and stewarding donors that financially support the ministry
• Strong listening, problem-solving, judgment, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to accurately document listener and donor interactions in CRM systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM or donor-management system experience preferred
• One or more years of customer service, donor relations, ministry relations, fundraising support, or similar experience preferred
• Provide warm, thoughtful, and personalized service that helps listeners feel heard, valued, and connected to Family Radio
• Recognize opportunities to deepen listener engagement and appropriately encourage financial partnership with the ministry
• Communicate with professionalism, empathy, accuracy, and sound judgment across all listener channels
• Learn Family Radio's mission, programming, fundraising efforts, and systems in order to confidently serve listeners
• Be reliable, organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Handle difficult or sensitive interactions with patience and composure, escalating issues when appropriate
• Work collaboratively across teams while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a commitment to continued growth
