Overview

As an established, growing custom sign shop in the Middle Tennessee and national markets, 12-Point Sign Works is currently searching for a team member for graphic design and pre-press. The applicant must be motivated, hardworking, and highly detail-oriented and product quality-focused. Previous custom sign shop experience valued.

The chosen candidate will be integral in working with our customers, our sales team, and our production team to develop custom signage and branding. Working with team members, including Sales, Operations, and directly with our customers, will be key to success.

• Extreme pride of workmanship and attention to detail

• Punctual with a clean appearance
• Large Format Print Sign Shop experience and pre-press experience are preferred and valued

• Works in a team environment with sales, operations, vendors, and clients
• Works with sales to help design client projects with input from operations and the client
• Translate client ideas into unique signage and environmental graphics while maintaining the client's brand identity
• Develop concepts and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system
• Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications
• Required to assume both positive leadership and facilitator roles to manage graphic projects, take necessary action when obstacles arise, thinking proactively about client solutions
• Display the desire to work within a team environment, as well as have the independent skill set to work through tasks with minimal supervision
• Will be integral with clients and the ensuing development of further opportunities
• Proactively contribute beyond basic job requirements and perform all other related work, as assigned or as apparent
