Job Role s and Responsibilities
Support project managers on multiple architectural projects.
Assist with projects from schematic design through construction administration.
Create 3D building information models (BIM) using Revit.
Prepare 2D construction documents using AutoCAD.
Perform redline revisions and drawing updates.
Assist in architectural design development and presentation graphics.
Support contract administration activities.
Assist with project specifications using master specifications.
Review shop drawings and product submittals during construction.
Coordinate with internal staff and engineering consultants.
Report project progress to the project manager.
Maintain project documentation and drawing files.
Scan, print, copy, and transmit project documents.
Ensure quality control and timely completion of assigned work.
Qualifications and CertificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited architecture program preferred.
Minimum 1 year of commercial and/or residential architectural office experience.
Alternative qualification: 3+ years of experience as an architectural intern.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Sketch Up experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of architectural practices and processes.
Knowledge of life safety codes, building codes, and specification writing.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
