Position: Senior Design Professional / Project Architect - Commercial Studio

906 Studio is seeking a Project Architect to join our Commercial Studio. This position plays a key role in the design and coordination of commercial, civic, and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical knowledge, design skill, and the ability to lead projects from schematic design through construction.

What You’ll Do
  • Full-time, professional with three plus years’ experience.

    Certification or current pursuit as a licensed professional is required.
  • Fully competent Architect in all conventional aspects of architecture.
  • Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity.
  • Performs analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts.
  • Meet with clients and stakeholders to discuss design and construction requirements.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, material selections, and timelines for client approval.
  • Act as the liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure construction adheres to state regulations, building codes, and design intent.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Skills in Sketch Up, Enscape, or Lumion considered a plus.
  • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage complex design tasks.
  • Knowledge of construction costs, timelines, and documentation standards.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a team-oriented mindset.
