Dance Instructors & Assistants/ Part-TimeResponsibilities:
Teach age-appropriate dance technique and class curriculum for assigned styles and skill levels.
Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment while maintaining appropriate class management.
Follow all program policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Choreograph and prepare recital performances.
Attend required instructor meetings and training sessions.
Communicate professionally with participants, parents, and staff.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Dance training or teaching experience preferred.
Experience working with children is a plus.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to foster a welcoming, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule:
Dance classes are ongoing from August through May, with additional summer camp opportunities available.
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Successful completion of a background check is required.
