Overview
ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Building Enclosure Associate I to join our Southeast Facilities team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you’ll work on projects involving inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building enclosures for existing structures. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients.
Responsibilities- Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services
- Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
- Performing field and laboratory testing
- Assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and projects
- Assisting with projects as needed
- Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects
- Scheduling and oversight of facilities technicians
- Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
- High School Diploma or GED required;
B.Arch or M.Arch (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college/university preferred - 0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required
- In lieu of education, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required. Experience with non-destructive testing preferred. Professional certifications (such as NRCA/IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector) preferred
- Facilities certifications are required for all types of testing performed. All applicable certifications are required in accordance with the Technician Certification and Pay Policy.
