Manufacturing Engineer

Lasko Products is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Franklin, TN facility.

• Project Management – Leading engineering projects to completion, timely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
• Problem Solving – Solving operational problems using systematic analysis, industry standard methodologies, determining assignable causes, implementing data-based solutions, and recommending actions to prevent recurrence.
• Continuous Improvement – Identifying and improving upon opportunities for improvement.
• Equipment/Capital Procurement – Selecting manufacturing equipment that meets specifications and project needs.

• Four‑year degree in Engineering.
• Three or more years working in a manufacturing setting, preferably with injection molding, stamping resistance welding, and conveyor equipment.

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics; ability to troubleshoot.
• Use CAD as a communication tool; reads drawings; 2D layouts in CAD.
• Understanding of PLC and ladder logic.
• Exposure to sheet metal bending/forming.
• Understanding of GD&T and proper use of metrology equipment.
• Proficient in problem‑solving tools – 8D, 5Y, DMAIC.
• PFMEA experience.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in the review of product and equipment drawings.
