Overview
We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer with a passion for precision analog and power electronics to help design and evolve the next generation of electricity metering and measurement products. In this role, you’ll work on real‑world, high‑reliability designs—developing AC‑to‑DC power supplies, precision measurement circuitry, and protection systems that utilities around the world rely on every day. You’ll collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams to take designs from concept through production—solving meaningful engineering challenges that balance accuracy, safety, cost, and long‑term reliability.

- Design and validate precision analog and power circuitry for high‑voltage electricity metering applications (up to 240 V).
- Develop AC‑to‑DC power supplies, surge protection circuitry, measurement systems, and communications interfaces.
- Build and debug prototypes; perform detailed characterization using lab and environmental test equipment.
- Optimize designs for low noise, low RF emissions, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and support regulatory compliance, manufacturing test, and calibration strategies.
- Partner with firmware, systems, mechanical, compliance, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and help mentor junior engineers, fostering strong engineering practices and an inclusive team environment.
- 0‑2+ years of experience in analog and power electronics design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
- Solid understanding of analog component behavior
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout best practices
- Hands‑on experience using common electronics lab equipment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively on cross‑functional teams - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document designs and technical results
- Experience designing AC‑to‑DC power supplies and other high‑reliability power circuits
- Familiarity with surge protection and over‑voltage protection strategies
- Background working in technology or product‑driven environments with a customer‑centric mindset
- Interest in knowledge‑sharing, mentoring, and contributing to inclusive engineering teams
