Miner 1 (Experienced Miner) (East Tennessee Mines) Key Accountabilities

• Adhere to all MSHA regulatory and Nyrstar standards
• Must have a Safety-First mindset; leading the way to safe work environment.
• Promote and assist in maintaining a positive work culture
• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities
• Must have competencies to drill to design
• Candidate must possess the ability to complete all 5 phases of the mining cycle including:
  • Drilling to design
  • Bolt / Bore with split feeds
  • Blasting
  • Material movement
  • Ground support
  • Utility installation

• 5 years underground hard rock mining experience
• Experience with mine specific equipment
• Excel in jumbo and ground control
• Must have completed all 5 phases of the miner cycle
• Minimum 1 skill from previous level
• Ability to obtain explosives license
• 7 days on / 7 days off rotating shifts
