Director of Tax

One of our growing clients is looking to add a Tax Director to their team! This is a newly created position and this individual will spearhead the Tax department. Looking for a go-getter who has previous leadership experience and preferably a CPA. Great benefits and comp package as well!

The Director of Tax will lead the tax function for the organization, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and managing tax risks. This role involves strategic planning, tax reporting, and liaising with external tax authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure the company’s tax position is optimized and legally compliant.

• This position will be responsible for keeping partnerships and corporations compliant with various federal, state, and local taxing authorities.
• They will provide income tax, property tax, and sales & use tax services in compliance with laws and regulations.
• They will implement procedures based on Company policies for all tax compliance matters.
• The Director of Taxation will perform estimates, analysis, and research for income tax matters.
• They will oversee tax compliance audits and will be responsible for the calculation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accruals, tax advance distributions, as well as estimated income tax payments.
• The Director of Taxation will build relationships with the accounting team and our partners, to provide excellent customer service.
