Network Health Care Pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy seeking a motivated Part-Time Pharmacist to work Monday and Friday in our Franklin, TN location.

A pharmacist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy by dispensing medications and pharmacy supplies in accordance with local, state, and federal mandates. Work is done in conformance with company policy and procedures governing such mandates. They strive to meet demands of facility patients as well as work as efficiently as possible to return profits to Network Healthcare.

Oversees pharmacy techs, monitors, verifies their work output as needed.

• Review and approve medication orders.
• Enter and verify medication through accurate interpretation of physician orders.
• Supervise daily pharmacy operations and resolve day-to-day problems using defined processes.
• Maintain QS1 drug records.
• Comply with state and federal pharmacy law.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Assist with technician responsibilities, if necessary.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with management, partners, and customers.

• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Ability to work with center and pharmacy staff.
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload/workflow.
• Set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond quickly.
• Exercise sound professional judgment.
• Exercise a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
• Working knowledge and understanding of all pharmacy policies, procedures, and directives.
• Working knowledge of QS1, Docu Track, Delivery Track, Matrix Care, and Parata systems.

• B.S. or Pharm D Degree.
• State license for Pharmacist in good standing must be maintained.
• Two or more years experience in a retail, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy.
