Hospitalist

is seeking a Hospitalist to provide locum tenens inpatient coverage in Tennessee. Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care to adult patients in an acute care setting
• Perform daily rounding, admissions, discharges, and care coordination
• Interpret diagnostic tests and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and case management to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all patient encounters and orders in the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and timely
• Participate in handoffs and clinical communication to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to hospital protocols, quality metrics, and patient safety standards
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled and respond promptly to pages and emergencies
